Hey Nik,

Hello there new home owner. I know you're busy painting, tearing into walls and all sorts of other exhausting work getting ready to move into your new house.How exciting for you!

I've been thinking a lot about your new house. I wish I was there to help. My husband pokes fun of our family, because if three people are together then everyone else feels the need to join in the fun. You can imagine it's been killing me not to be a part of all the updates to your house.

Speaking of houses, what are your favorite home inspirations? Personally I'm partial to Young House Love, Opal Never Shouts, random boards on Pinterest, and Lowe's Home Ideas tab.

We picked out some paint for our bathroom while the in-laws were here. We ordered some bead board wallpaper to go on the bottom half and are waiting for it to arrive. Here's hoping to no scary surprises when we pull down the half paneling in the bathroom. I'm not too naive to think it will all go perfectly, but I'm hoping we're not biting off more than we can chew!
